Chaps,

I have had water dripping into the car every now and again which is driving me nuts after being out in the rain.

Its an E30 M3 and it's coming down the passenger side (left hand drive) and has wet the ECU, then drips down the speaker cover onto the carpet.

I have changed the elephant trunk drain hose which was bunged up anf thought that cured it, but no, it's back.

Yesterday I noticed that there was water under the grill by the bulkhead on the offside, so I removed the grill and soaked the water up.

I believe water should drain out of here and not collect, but where does it drain from, the outside by the wing or the inside near the blower motor? If it's not draining something must be blocked.

Does anyone have a diagram of this part of the car, or had this happen to them?

Thanks in advance

Kevin

That should drain out of the 'elephant trunk' mate.
Do you park on an angle?
Sounds like you need to take the cover off the bulkhead and have a good look round

Thanks Dan,

The bulkhead cover is a large plastic affair. I couldn't see any obvious screws to remove it, do you know how it comes off?

Thanks

Wonder if you're confusing the grills under the windscreen with the bulkhead cover?
Bulkhead cover's a large metal plate under the bonnet behind the engine. Not always obvious that it comes off.
