Hi,
I wonder if anyone can help me.
I am based in Germany, but though I´d post in English here, cause
my German is, shall we say rosty.

I have been offered a white 325i Cab, 1988 with 109.982mile gone.
The ABS is broken (apparently due to some fuse thing) and the suspension is making sqeaking noises when it is bumby, but for some reason not much when driving faster ie. 50+. The water pump is changed and the brakes are new. No rost, The roof has 2 small holes that has been fixed with patch and except for that the car seems to be in a good condition. It drives well. The engine noise when still is a little high but seems normal.
Seating is Motorsport Checked.

He wants 1000Euro (700 pounds) for it. The seller has as far as I know been taking good care of it (he´s an old friend)

Questions:

1. Is the price good?
2. Can the ABS and the suspension issue be fixed for a moderate sum?
3. What about the "timing belt" do I need to change that and what is an estimate cost

4. Is there anything else in particular I should ask the seller for before buying it?

Cheers and thanx in advance!
Oliver

Sounds cheap enough, always have the belt changed unless you have proof of when it was last done.If the abs lights are not working or the system is faulty its a M O T failure in the uk i dont what its like with regards to your t u v.

Cheers

Its not worth much in the UK if its LHD but if your staying in Germany......It is a good price even if the faults cost £500 to sort!

Thats a 325i Convertible all in for like £1200 winkeye
