Right guys. I'm having my interior trimmed at the moment and i've gone for cream with black piping, but my mate said when he went round to the trimmers, he saw some seats that he'd just finished for a E30 with no piping and it looks proper pimp. I'm all confused now, so waht should i go for? Black piping or pimp no piping winkeye

No piping, no contrast stitching... just monotone colour dude...

Coloured piping is so yesterday... One single colour is the future... I've tasted it!

Nav i just rang him and he said he was going to ring me today to suggest no piping :D He said exactly what G has said that piping is so yesterday, so he's doing it with no piping now. It would also go so much better with the Euro look i'm going for like you said and it would not look like a clone of the Rieger either winkeye

I do like piping though  :D

I love that white. Proper pimp, but you'd have to clean that everyday or it will soon look nice and dirty :D

No piping and definitely should have gone for the Lotus white. Sod practicality!

good thing you didnt go for white, its a headache.

youve seen mine and it took me 2-3 hours to clean whenever i did, and it still werent fully clean. You really have to have cream/white interior to understand the trouble it is.

Dude you dont have to tell me mate. You've seen hum many cows went into the Rieger. Just imagine how long it takes me including the hardtop too

Well worth it though. I've had the Rieger interior for nearly 3 years now and it still looks neat winkeye

I really wanted the Calypso red, but no point in spending all that money and ending up with 2 red cars and both with cream interior so i've gone for a special paint that changes colour with the weather. I dont mean flip either. It's like heat sensitive and the whole car cjanges from one colour to another deending on the weather. There again i could have gone for a Seca blue from the E46. I'll leave you to guess winkeye

Nooooo... I meant what colour interior...

So if someone put there hot grubby mints on your paintwork, it'll leave a different colour hand shaped patch?

The bonnet will be a different colour to the rest of the car due to the heat off the engine...

Cream with no piping mate. I thought about silver grey, but it wasn't pimp enough so cream or white and i went for cream winkeye

You are right with the paint, but as soon as your engine cools it will be back to normal winkeye Not decided yet though. I quiet like the yellow of the E46 M3 as well winkeye

No i haven't D. My mate owns a paint company called Specialist paints and he was developing one a while back. He also had the chrome paint, but it's so bright you'll cause accidents in the summer and i'm sure PC Plod will have something to say about that too. winkeye

To be honest this will be an everyday car so to speak so i will be going for a standard flat colour as all these fancy paints are so soft, they wont stand up to everyday use and not cheap as you say either :(

Can you have it go multicolour whenever it goes near a big carpark? I'm getting sick of looking for mine. I'm going to tie a glow-stick to the ariel ;)
