Over the last few days it seems to have got hard to engage gears when driving, and the cluych has been very low.
I've gone to go out this morning, and cant get any gears except fifth, and occasionally fourth, this is with the engine running.
With the engine switched off, I can select all gears.
Any ideas?

Quite possibly the master cylinder then... I'd change the slave too, because fitting a new master may well cause it to fail anyway
