I recently swaped my fuel tank for a one with 2 sender units in it.
I was told to connect the sender units in series.

so i cut the brown/green wire and attached wires to the other sender unit.
now my fuel guage doesn't work.

Thats the correct circuit - Now all you have to do is work out where your wiring differs from that circuit!

If you weren't so hot with electrics, I'd say check that the sender to ins cluster wires are not mixed up.

Test the output of the sender units with a multi meter. Could be a knackered sender.

"There you go Nana, thats how you suck eggs!" Springs to mind though!
Still its another post chalked up!

Earth the brown/green wires at the back of the car and see if it makes the gauge read as a first check.

Just thought id finish this thread off.

Ive done the same tank swap as smithy, the wiring above is correct but it wont work until the gauge is also swapped over 8)
