I have a fair bit of slack on my throttle cable and would like to reduce it.... but how do i do this?
I notice the throttle body end has a small nut on it but that doesn't seem to do anything.
Can anyone help?

Are you sure?
I have a nut but it only moves up and down a threaded bit (up to a plastic part that is attached to the actual throttle cable). It doesn't take in or increase slack at all, which ever way you move it.
The plastic part doesn't appear to be able to move up or down and tightening and untightening the nut doesn't move the plastic part either.
Would pics help?

on my 320 the cable has a brass coloured threaded part on the end at the throttle body and a plastic adjuster, this is tight on the thread so it dosent adjust itself with the engine vibrations.
lightly hold the thread with plyers (try not to damage it) and then adjust the plastic nut as required
