Coming home from a mates late last night went round a roundabout on the ring road must have been icey, the back stepped out I caught the fisrt slide but then it just slid back the other way up onto the grass verge and into the only post for about 300 fooking yards. Its not that bad but I think the age of the car is against it so I'm preparing myself for bad news when the inspector dude comes round. The speedo is the only gauge left working and the reversing lights dont work and I only just fitted a new switch. Thank god I got protected no claims bonus !          :cheese: :cheese: :cheese: :cheese: :cheese: :cheese: :cheese: :cheese:

P.S if it is a total loss what ever will I get next ?

Bad luck mate, at least you are OK, ice is a bitch.
Ummm get another E30 when you get the pay out, just use it as an opportunity to get one without any of the prolems th old one had (even if it was pukka there's always something you'd change) which is a plus, and you can use it as an opportunity to get one with higher spec, or less milage.

PS I've found you a new avatar.......

Thanks for the kind words, appreciate it. just been up too check the old girl over in the day light, I cant believe all the lights still work and the bonnet opens, starts and runs a treat. Shame to waste a nice motor but I dont think they'll repair it and I bet they dont offer me shit for it, am I bitter ? F@cking rite I am just put new tyres on it !

Just spoke to the insurance and they said there sending an engineer round rather than have a repair'er pick it up because they think considering the age of the car they'll probably call it a total loss. So for now I'm biggin it up in the corsa they've gave me, why are hire cars so fast ? If they do write it off are there any bits and pieces I could take off before they come and get it (obviously bits that would'nt notice when they pick it up). winkeye winkeye
