Spray the nuts with some sort of lube, not k.y, wd40 or something, pray that the studs dont break off, replace the studs when the manifold is off, good luck

agreed, but spray it for a week or so , daily before attempting removal

also, when the day comes, make sure the engine is warm, if they are seized the heat will aid in removal, obv dont have it scorching hot , burnt fingers are no fun

Strangely brake fluid is also a good freeing agent, dont put it on a hot manifold or you will plumes of white smoke !!
Good prank we do at work if someone has done his first head job, pour half a bottle in the exhaust, as soon as it warms up it bellows white smoke out the back, poor bugger shat himself !!!! winkeye
