between a 2liter engine and 2.5 engine?
am lookingat one tonite and want to know if it is a 2.5 or 2.0
Car is a 320 but has disks on back and larger exhaust than standard - more like a 2.5 exhaust.
Is there any tell tale signs on the engine which will tell me if it is a 2.5 or 2.0?
Thanks
How do i tell the difference

yep, there is a stamp on the block just below the first and second spark plug (near the front ?) that will have 2.5 or 2.5/2.7 that means its a 2.5 but it is hard to see unless you know where it is
also if you know your engines the Throttle body is bigger.

Thanks MR Lee.
As far as the log book is concerend, how many of you have put in a bigger engine and 'forgotten' to tell the DVLA?
Mmm, thought so!

the stamp mr lee says u should look out for is actually on the head itself. in the same place that he has described, towards the front of the car in between the the spark plugs... 2.5/2.7 means its a 2.5!!!
