Hi guys, i noticed a strange problem recently... whenever i turn, i get a grating/squeaking noise from the steering rack or something. I was in a parking lot earlier, left the car idling and turned the wheel left then right, even the slightest turn and i hear this noise. I haven't had a chance to check anything yet, but off the top of your head, what do you think is causing the problem? steering rack? powersteering pump? or both?

Get your steering fluid flushed out and changed ASAP if it's anything other than a nice red colour, and then hope.

i checked it now, it looks like Pepsi... black as pitch!

thats it it then dude, i think that power fluid could be almost 10 years old or more 8O
