hi, i have a crank shaft for my 2.7 that has allready been built into a block and torqued up etc. i belive the crank to have been ballenced but the block did not come with a flywheel.
I now have a flywheel and am having it lightened, they say that they can not ballence it without the crank which i dont want to remove from the block. do you think i will get away with just putting it all together or is there alot more to it than this?
Thanks
engine balencing

You probably would get away without having it all balanced, but for the sake of a set of main bolts, I'd have it out and get the whole lot ballanced.
They'll need the crank damper and also the clutch cover plate too.
Also, it'll give you a chance to check that the crank journals are in fine fettle or whether they're in need of replacement.
