I have an 89 325i that i got from my brother. For some reason I have no turn signals, wipers or cruise control. I've checked all the fuses, connections and even the switches themselves. When i turn the hazards on they work fine. I did take a voltmeter to the fuse panel and discovered that those circuits do not have power. I am assuming there is a common problem. If anyone could possibly point a finger in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

How about the brake lights and horn? If these are out as well, the common theme is the purple feed wire from the ignition switch.
Take the cover above the driver's legs off and see if there is power at the purple wire where it goes through a plug and socket clipped to the steering column (with ignition on). Check with a 12V lamp rather than a meter, as a meter can give misleading readings on an unloaded circuit.
Jump the red wire to the purple at this connector, and see if things come to life.
There is also a plug and socket inside the fusebox carrying the purple wire, which can easily be left partly disconnected by anyone messing about inside the fusebox.
