M20 6 Speed (Gs6-17bg)

Hi all,
My brother recently purchased an 86 320i, the car is a factory auto and we’re looking at manual swapping the car.
I’ve currently got a gs6-17bg from an e90 sat in my garage with a clutch and flywheel that was previously mounted on an M5x.
Is there any reason this shouldn’t work on the m20?
I know it’ll need an offset gearbox mount as it’ll sit at 10°(?) off centre.
Is there anyone out there already running this box?
If so what prop are you using?
Any help/advice would be appreciated.
