If it helps I've had a few diffs collected for me by UPS no problem. The box ends up quite grizzley but other than some rust knoked off for me they have been undamaged.
Only thing I would do is send the back plate separately if it has all the fins and is wanted in good condition.

While I've used couriers to ship parts before, it's a bit of a hit and miss as most couriers have explicit ToS that prohibits shipping auto to parts.
Given the weight and price, I'd be wary, especially if anything goes wrong or worse, missing.

If I were doing it, I’d not blast and paint/coat it with the internals preset. I’d get it fully disassembled, get the blasting/painting etc. done and re-assemble.
