I have given in with the pierburg carb and I want to change to a weber, however as mine is an auto box I need a carb that must be auto kick down and an automatic choke any ideas out there which one to go for

Mine is an auto 316 with a weber and the kick down works fine and has manual choke which is really not a problem.

Mart.
Only the E46 cab left now.
Just got too old.

I think there were 2 versions of Weber - one for manual and one for auto. If you have a manual one talk to any Weber agent and they may still do parts to convert manual to auto. Years ago there was a kit of parts available.
