Differential race damage

I removed the bushing from the diff today, the outer bit of the bushing was corroded heavily onto the inner race of the diff. Getting it out required a sharp chisel which slightly marred the surface of the race at one point. Do I need to worry about getting it machined flat and adding a shim between the new bushing and the race or is this fine?

It'll be fine, just take any burr off.
