Hi All, I run a small independent garage on a part time basis. With a main interest in modern german classics I attract like minded customers with all sorts of older german cars. I was hunting for information around rear subframes and trailing arms on the E30. Could someone tell me definitively if drum trailing arms can be converted to disc by changing hubs etc or is it a complete no go.
I have a customer wanting a completely refurbished/powder coated rear subframe and arms etc just thought it would make sense to buy and restore a second subframe so it can be swapped once refurbished without having the car take up the ramp whilst getting the original powder coated. Would appreciate any advice on this.
Thanks Gill

Welcome to the zone mate and I`m sure this can be done but have a look in the "Wiki" just to confirm this.
