Hi guys, in a bit of a dilemma currently. I'm restoring my 88' Cab. I got whole new rear quarters from Cotswold, turns out I ordered the wrong ones- Facelift where my car is Pre-Face.
What are my options from here? Im happy to get a facelift Rear center panel, I already ordered a Pre-Face one from Schmiedmann but am happy to try sell it on.
Offering the the rear quarters up It looks like they hang a few inches lower below the boot floor compared to pre-facelift?
Any advice appreciated.

No real good answer to this one. You have the wrong panels.
Don't know what your plans are for the car but putting a FL back end on a PreFL will destroy any value in the car. Might not be so bad the other way around but Pre FL are getting more scarce by the the day.
It is not just the back valance, the inner arches do not line up either as the outer arches are lower on a FL
Be tempted to sell on the quarters if you cannot exchange them and get the correct panels

Thanks for the reply, I have confessed to Jon my mistake and am waiting to hear back from him, i am hoping i can maybe do an exchange, i appreciate these are probably special panels (they came from Germany) and are probably not returnable. In terms of resale value, its not something i have considered much, the car is having an M54 Swap so its not going to be kept original in that sense - I was not aware of the Inner Arches being different, its funny you mentioned that because i was looking to buy new inner arch lips and was told by the seller that the part they sell fits both FL and PFL.
EDIT: Looking on RealOEM i dont seem to be able to find PFL Rear Quarters, they all seem to share the same Part No.

So i can't return the panels and they only have a passenger side in PFL, guess ill try and make it work as a Facelift - I actually prefer the Facelift look, will just have to try and make the inner arches and rear valance work.
