Does anyone know what the minimum height for skimming is for a M20 2.5 head?
(From rocker face to head gasket face).
I just want to know so I can save the time stripping a head if itÔš's already passed tolerance.
I would appreciate any help on the matter.
Cheers

Thanks for the info guys.

Since then i have had my spare head crack tested, skimmed and new exhaust guides. Now its ready for a 284/272 Shrick cam!

The head height is now 124.85mm, my question is whether i need a standard head gasket or an extra thick one?
Whats the limit before you need a extra thick one?

Much apprieciated if anyone can help.

Cheers

Just out of interest - where would you buy a thicker head gasket from?

Cheers guys

I'm pretty sure you can get a thicker head gasket from BM's and from GSF.
