I have for sale this 318iS project!
- Brilliant red.
- Very clean iS uberkaro interior with factory fitted rear head rests. Drives leg bolster does have a hole but its repairable
- Rear pop out windows.
- 14inch BBS cross spokes in VGC WITH centre caps but will need new tyres.
- Engine starts on the button runs very smooth.
- Tech one steering wheel.
- Black head lining.
- Electric sunroof.
- Roof is in good shape, no corrision.
In case people don't realise why the 318iS isn't 'just a 318':
- They came with 51mm front struts and vented front discs with the larger calipers.
- Mtech suspension.
- Rear brake discs.
- Sports seats covered in the Uberkaro cloth.
- Black head lining.
- Mtech one steering wheel.
- 16v 1800cc engine producing 135bhp.
- 21mm front and 16mm rear ARBs.
- Tubular exhaust manifold.
The car is sold as a project for the following reasons:
- Both rear arches need welding front and rear. Both the outer tubs front and rear sections need repair. Also outer bodywork sections. Replacement outer sections are available from Valcas Garage website.
- Both front wings are rotten at the bottom and need to be replaced. I have a pair of replacement brilliant red wings I can supply with the car if the asking price is met.
- Rear valance has the standard battery tray/tow eye rust patch.
- There is a bit of an oil leak from the engine but they are famous for it from around the top timing chain case. New gaskets and some sealer will solve this.
- Two small rust holes on the corners of the wind screen.
- LH sill needs repair just in front of the rear arch.
- It looks like the cluster was changed in 2006 as the mileage on the MOT history changes from ~170k to ~115k miles. There is a good pile of history of the car, from 2009 onwards.
- Obviously has no MOT as it would fail on the rust holes at present.
- I have had the car machine polished to bring the paint back to life as it was brilliant pink! It will need paintwork once thinks like the rear arches have been done but all the other panels have cleaned up nicely.
For someone who is confident with a welder and who has some time, this car does have the potential to be a great project with lots of potential. They aren't uncommon in brilliant red but the road going one I have always gets a fantastic response when I take it out.

I am asking £4000 for this which, if this price is met, I will include a pair for genuine front wings to help with the renovations. Obviously, everything is negotiable but I won't have people take the piss
Car is located in Brackley, Northamptonshire.
