M20B25 Lambda sensor

Hiya

So just wanted to confirm whether all E30s with an M20B25 come with a lambda sensor as I have the plug for it under the battery tray but have no sensor in the exhaust or plugged in.

The purpose of a lambda sensor is to protect a cat. If your car isn't fitted with a cat. (and the rest of the associated emissions equipment), then it doesn't need a lambda sensor.
You've not indicated where in the world you are, but few UK 325is were fitted with cats. (or lambda sensors).
