Rear window rubber

I have removed all of the glass before my 323i goes for paint. With the rear window rubber, is there anything I need to be aware of before I pull it out of the body? The glass came out easily. I have a new rear window rubber, but the front windshield rubber is perfect and I am going to reuse it. Is there anything worth doing to the front windshield rubber before I refit it? I will fit new locking strips front and back.
