I am currently replacing the headlining in a 318is with an excellent one I took out of another one I broke last year.
My question is when I was removing it from its doner last year (prior to cutting of the roof) I don't think it had the foam sound deadening covering the Sunroof cassette but as the roof was sold on to save another E30 it didn't sit about so I can't really be 100% sure.

The car the Headlining is now going into has the foam sound deadening but it seem to be stopping the headlining from fitting correctly. Do all E30's have this fitted ? ( I would like to keep it but if its affecting the fitting I will remove it) the headlining that was a good fit in it doner is now too tight to fit the new car, anyone have any tips on how to safely stretch the head lining.

I also need advice on a suitable adhesive to use round the sunroof and window apertures to ensure a good strong and quick bond

All help and advice will be much appreciated.

Many thanks Glenn
