I have just joined after buying my first E30 about 18 months ago. It all started because I asked my then 15 year old son what sort of car he wanted for his first car, after giving him a budget. Then after driving his for a year until he got his licence, I had to get myself another car so why not an E30? He has an S2 318i coupe and I wanted an almost matching S2 318i sedan…. So I bought an S1 323i sedan. (one out of three ain’t bad eh?)
Anyway, I am loving driving the car and working on it (which is the main reason I wanted something a little older as a daily)
I am also writing a blog which follows the trials and tribulations of running older cars on a daily basis. If anyone is interested in a laugh, there is a fair bit of E30 content.
