Hi,
I recently rebuild the lock cylinder but when I try to lock the car, the lock won't reach the microswitch. Unlocking works fine, I already tried thickening the miscroswitch plate because its very close to hit te microswitch so that's why it looks dark (please check out the video to see what I mean).
Am I missing something?

Thanks in advance.

Microswitch on driver's door is for dead locking, not setting the locks. Locking and unlocking is initiated by a switch incorporated into the locking motor, operated mechanically by the linkage. Remove the two screws securing the motor and lift it up and down by hand. the locks should set and unlock.
The microswitch is operated when you turn the key fully clockwise, to aa position where it can be pulled out, and the L shaped alloy piece should flip over from one side to the other at some point.
