Hello,
I am currently selling my car, an E30 318i Lux convertible in what i thought was gun metal grey. However, I was luckily informed that if I looked under the bonnet to confirm the colour it is Granite Silver it means that my car was one of only 14 in the whole country.
It is currently on ebay but i am not sure now how much it is worth? Can anyone help me with the pricing or advice on selling my car or even if anyone is interested please let me know dean_cornwell@btinternet.com.
Thanks,
Dean
Can someone please help me? Granite Silver E30 Cabrio?

first of all
welcome to the zone mate.
I very much doubt there are only 14 in the country
otherwise I would be a very lucky boy
as I have the same colour.
there are one or 2 others on here who have it too.
it is by all accounts a rare colour
a special order one
so you dont see many of them about.

Thanks malcolm,
However, I was reassured that it is only 1 of 14, something along the line if it says granitsilber under the bonnet, this means it is rare.
Is yours that colour for definite then?
I dont mean to be rude but just am a bit excited about the prospect that it could be very rare.
Cheers

My Friend had a Granite Silver Convertible... looks VERY close to Sebring Grey (a Motorsport only colour).
Looks nice though, but not 1 of 14 I wouldn't have thought.

yep mine is the very same colour
on this forum you also have
stevetigger (318i lux cab)
kam 320i cab (320i cab now sold)
paulj (318i cab now sold)
there is also a 325i sport in this colour.
it must be one of the most rare non standard/non special edition colours they did.
I think the only way to find out exactly how many of these cars
were made in this colour is to contact BMW themselves,
but I dont think it will be an easy task getting the info.
did you get the contact details of the person that told you there were
only 14 in the country
would be a nice avenue to follow,
how rare would that be.

I will try and find out from BMW whether it is that rare.
Just out of interest, what kind of prices do these fetch. Mine is not in fantastic condition but looks great to an untrained eye.
Do you know anyone who would be interested in buying it as I have just started my own company and reallly need the money.
