So, got a holiday coming up mid August. Heading to New York for a few days and then down to see family in Virginia.

Seeing as I have an address to get stuff delivered to, I was wandering if there are any essential aftermarket goodies you think I should buy for my e30 while I'm out there.

You know, like arm rests/cup holders we don't often see here, or various bits from places like Garagistic & CATuned.

If you can't think of anything e30 related, feel free to post ridiculous things I most certainly won't want to travel back to the UK with :D

Coin holders used to be fairly easy to get. Cabby 3rd brake lights are also good for safety. I'd be thinking the other way, Euro stuff sells well over there.

good point about the euro stuff being more sort out over there... probably not enough time/funds left to start sorting out some proper cross border trades tho !

You can buy that exact part in Europe as its made in Finland, https://www.facebook.com/magnusracingte ... 53122228:0

Quick google of manufacturers names and you can buy almost everything cheaper and receive it quicker than going through the usual 'box handler' businesses

As for the garagistic tat I wouldnt bother :)

I will actually be driving from Charlottesville to Charlotte Airport, felt like taking a mini road trip with my lady to finish up the holiday. My uncle used to live in North Carolina but recently moved, otherwise I would have stayed there for part of the trip too!

Good point though, euro trim seems to be really sort after out there.

Nice ! Thanks for the link and advice.

You are right, I will avoid the middle man, dodge the tat and just spend my $$$$ on beer :D
