There was a tech 1 on here a while back that had them,

Looked pretty good, been thinking of light/Ash grey ones on my Alpine White tech 2 sport. Nice & subtle.

I put silver/black stripes on my grey Tech 1. Was £54 from BMW.

For some reason i think stripes look ok. on a tech1,but not on a tech 2

They seem at home on an E28, but i can't imagine them on an E34,or an E36.

M technic brochures it has pinstripes
I think I’ll decide once Car back from paint shop my mind saying go for the pinstripes

Seen a few E30's with pinstripes. Even bog standard 318's. I have a silver set for my car, havent got around to getting it done.. not sure if I would.

i had a 318 M10 back in the late 90's that had a pin stripe on it when i purchased it. The car was absolutely original and the pin stripes looked good (it was metallic black) and was a nice contrast.

A thin silver stripe on a black car does look well. I've had to redo mine a couple of times with new wings and doors over the years.
