Evening all,

About to refresh the shocks and springs. While I am in there I figure it is a good time to remove the plastic cowlings and get a good coating of Waxoyl inside the wheel arches areas, as there will be no springs/shocks/struts in the way.

I am a bit conflicted though about what to do with the inside lip of the rear wheel arches, especially as this is where the inner and outer skins meet and is a prime rust spot.

I would have thought 3M polyurethane seam sealer would be the best solution, however a friend I met at the BMW car club swears by using epoxy?

Any advice would be much appreciated.

Harry
