So all my seals are new including the shifter one on my Getrag 260.

Last few days everything was dry. Just did 1200 km to the UK and back, and now have a wet rear end on the box, appears to be coming from the top shifter seal as far as I can tell.

I've read about blocked vents on these boxes causing oil to be pushed out of the seals, how in gods name do you get at the vent to check it is not blocked? Anyone have any good ideas before I am forced to pull the box out?

Can't have leaks, oh no indeed not.

So I found the valve on top of the box, access by removing the clutch slave cylinder, then you can get your hand in to feel if it's free and not blocked. I still have a leak at the shifter seal, I guess it has a damaged shaft or sleeve as a new seal doesn't fix the dribble.

I'm getting very quick at dropping the exhaust system, heat shields and prop shaft, should be an Olympic sport.
