Possible earth fault??

Help needed trying to trace possible earth fault. Temp gauge bounces up and down and goes up and down when hazards are on. Checked earth steals on car how many should there be? I’ve got battery earth in boot, left hand side of engine to leg, and strut top. Have checked brass but in back of cluster. Any ideas appreciated
