Hello,

I need some info from friends here.
I recently hear some noise from my differential, so I open it but found nothing hurt the planetary tooth it still smooth.

What cause the noise? Does is it the bearing? So if I replace it with new bearing front and both left and right it can be cure?

Or is it up fixing problem and just buy the whole new planetary tooth gear?

Thank you and sorry I can reply at the same thread I don't know why the zone system prevent me.

Markus

For Brian.
Whining noise like faster wind or may be like a Wolf sound with low sound.

You said that you have tell zone's admin Internet? About my problem that can not reply in the same thread?

Any way it is difficult to find diff bearing here but I can buy NTN brand but I'm difficult to find the replacement part number/conversion

If the noise is a whine, then the pinion bearing is likely to be the problem, but there's a procedure for replacing this, without complicating matters.
You must carefully mark the exact position of the retaining nut, before removing it and replacing the bearing, then replace the same nut to the exact same position. This is because the nut tightens down on a crushable sleeve, which sets the pinion gear mesh relative to the crown wheel, which mustn't be changed.

I've posted a thread in the back room re your problem with replying on the thread, so hopefully tat'll get sorted.
