Hi, my rear shock has torn a hole in the shock tower (supplied reinforcement plates to mechanic when he fitted coilovers but they appear to be missing)
Is there a weld in panel available, worth getting section cut from shell being broken or do I need to get piece fabricated?
Last year's bills got seriously out of hand and this year ain't starting much better.
I get the feeling this could be expensive as I can't weld and I just lost my job...rough idea anyone?
Any advice please.

If you really did fit 'coil overs' to the rear of any E30, you'd need to strengthen the area a LOT more than that afforded by reinforcement plates.
Shouldn't be a difficult welding repair, once the loading on the point has been reduced back to somewhere near design levels.

Sorry, was set of BC coilovers rears are still spring and shock due to strengthening needed.
Thanks
