Guys, wondering if anyone can help.
As soon as I plug in my Sat nav into the lighter socket, it sparks and blows a fuse. What do you think is the problem?
Many thanks in advance.

Your sat nav lead! Does it do it with a cigarette lighter?

So I pressed the lighter down and it wouldn't stay down. Kept my finger on it for 10 seconds and checked the lighter. It glows red just not staying down. And no sparks, no blown fuses. Seems to do it with the tom tom lead. Car is a US spec M3. Shall I try a USB plug to see if it does it with that? What could be the problem with the tom tom lead? It works fine in the other car.

M3pete, you was correct. I plugged in a USB charger and connected the tom tom to that, and it was fine. So what do you think is the problem with the original lead with charger attached?
