Fitted a brand new roof pull bar last night and tried to get the EM roof working on my Convertible. It seemed ok, needed a helping hand a bit to open and close. All of a sudden there was a big bang!
I had a look and the anchor point for the small pull bar had torn itself away from the body. Part 4 here fixes to body.

It looks like the 2 pull bars have been working 'against' each other as previously the bigger pull bar bent itself double when operating the roof.

I can operate the main roof bit automatically, just need to fold the rear window section up and down by hand and it all works ok.

Anyone have a Convertible in the NW of England who would be willing for me to take a look at your mechanism and take a few notes etc?

Thanks Mike.

You need to speak to Gert as he has fiddled with his mechanism for a few years.
