I decided to have a look at the condition of the limited slip diff unit . On disassembly, there is quite a bit of wear to the clutch disc ( replacing anyway ) but also the bottom of the compression ring is quite marked.
I feared looking at what these are new from BMW, but they are NLA anyway, so kinda solves that problem.
Is there anything can be done with these, or now a case of finding a good used pair ? Any thought or advice appreciated.
Thanks.
