Hello!
I have noticed that my radio is very weak at catching signal and I have no antenna where it's usually located (on the trunk).
I was wondering if that was even serial and is it smart to order one from eBay and drill a place for it?

If you get one, here are the fitting instructions, from the zone wiki, showing exactly where the hole should be drilled: http://www.e30zone.net/e30zonewiki/imag ... aerial.pdf

Thank you for the info.
I really didn't know it's a serial thing for some E30 to come with no antenna.

All E30s were built without an antenna. They were bespoke, hand finished vehicles supplied to the customer's specification, and if you didn't specify a radio, then you didn't get a radio or any of the associated bits, except for the wiring to the front door tweeters. There's even a dash centre panel with the clock moved to eliminate the DIN cutout.
If you boot is damp from the antenna, then probably the drain tube from the bottom of the antenna gearbox to the drain behind the side of the bumper is missing. There should be a small branch for it on the sunroof drain connector.
