1990 325i 324,000kms. It is up on jack stands and I want to test my rear bushings. How do I do it?

should be obvius if there dead or not. take the covers of the bottom and you will se if the rubbers cracked or the centre part is detached

Support the rear of the car on the body and jack/lever the rear beam upwards near the ends. If there's any movement, rather than just slight flexing of rubber, then the bushes are shot.
