i bought another m50b25 engine, this came out of a 525i. So now i have the right oil pick up, ... i bought it because the head of the first engine had cracks in the 4th cilinder. Now i also have a propshaft what is a mix of a e36 328 and a e36 318 to match the gearbox. and also the right steering pump.

hey, i now also got a maf sensor. It is one of a BMW m5 and the connector fits like a glove, but would that work?

i did the cylinder head and the stripped block to the machine shop to check if they are alright. I'm still missing a sump, because the one that was on the e34 engine was missing a big piece. i also got the pink top injectors.
And the search to all the components to build a m50b30 still continues..... :D

Not yet, it is a work in progress. I havent had a lot of time to work on the car due my work. I have now the engine back from the workshop. It is now a m50b30 but i still have to assembly the engine.
I now have a lot of pieces and a car next to it..... a¤”

Ok, finally!!! The engine is in the car, it took me almost 2 years a˜®a˜® (not proud of it). In my defense: 2childeren, full time job and a home garage.....
Now the z3 rear axle with strongflex is mounted. The roll cage, bucket seats, and sport steer are placed. I now have a big brake kit of brembo (330mm) , kw suspension and h&r stabilisators. And a m50b30...
For brake servo i found one of a Opel Agila. With a little bit work on it, it fits. And i still have about 2,5cm play with the inlet.

A bit of advice I can give you is to not bother with the Bosch M50 loom/ecu, use the Siemens ecu/loom/sensors from an E36 328i it will run the 3.0 much better and is generally a much better system
