Hi Guys
Went to Kew Gardens for a christmas light show thing (dont go to this,not an experience at all) and on the way there I noticed 3 green lights on the inspection bar intermittantly flashing. and needles bouncing. Seemed to happen mainly when heaters were on but did it when they were off but less frequent. Trawlled through here and goobles but canny find anything. Is it loose wiring somewhere?

If the SI lights come on when driving, they are being triggered by a low output on the alternator D+ terminal. I think the first thing I'd do is unscrew the alternator regulator pack, and check the condition of the carbon brushes.

Thank you Brian. I will check this, i had the car running for a while would this of happened even after an hours driving?
