I've got a 84 323 which I track that has a 2.7L in it.
I was getting a massive surge every now and then which was like an overboost cut off on a turbo charge car.
I traced part of the problem down to the primary fuel pump, which I have now replaced.
I have also replaced
Plugs
Leads
Fuel Filter
I am now getting a hesitation when snapping the throttle open.
Any ideas? Could vacuum be this acute??
