Hi - I am trying to replace the front speakers on my E30 convertible, job looks straight forward but I cannot figure out how to remove the plastic trim that runs from the base of the speaker (and holds in the speaker trim card) along the length of the door opening. It is like a threshold protector. I have watched a couple of youtube videos and saloon cars don't have the same trim.
I have removed the three popper clips but it wont budge.
any help would be great.
