I am away to pick up a m52b28 on Sunday. It is coming with e36 power steering pipes.
I have a z3m steering rack in the shed that's been waiting on me deciding which engine I was going to fit.
I've looked on realoem and the part numbers are different which probably answers my question.
will e36 pipes fit my z3m rack? m52 vs s52
or do I need to source custom pipes.
Just trying to get a list of other bits together

Dan told me that the Z3M rack is not the best one to use because the lock is restricted to accommodate the wider wheels used on that model, but if you have got one............

Yeah, I fitted one to mine and its ok but I can't get out of my parking space in one movement anymore. Lock is less than the e36 one I had before. E46 purple tag ones are apparently much better. DanThe's pipes are spot on though, whatever you go for.
