Hi all, happy new year to you!
Next on my list to sort on my '86 316 (carby) is the exhaust system. The manifold and middle section are fine but my back box has seen better days, so I want to replace it but hopefully with something with a little more of an aggressive tone.
I can get an OEM box off ebay for approx £50 and there are loads of options also on ebay for aftermarket stainless mufflers for about the same price but I'd imagine these might not sound very good.
Has anyone experience with MIJ or Fastlane backboxes? Quality, sound, etc...
Failing that does anyone know of a good brand to go for that'll give me a deeper exhaust note without being 'too' loud?
Tried Jetex but they say they've stopped doing systems for this year/engine size.
