Has anyone fitted the chip you get get from the zone shop yet on a 318i M40 engine?
It seems a fairly economical way to see improvemnets but I was enquiring as to what those improvements may be?
Everything on my car is standard but was interested in adding this chip if it will smoothen the response or make the engine feel keener.
I'm aware that there wouldn't be significant power/torque gains, but if it makes a difference then I'll consider it to give the motor a kick, whilst I accumulate parts for the 3.5 conversion that I aim to start in June sometime!
