Can any part of an E34 LSD be used to transplant into an E30 casing? Or what would be required from either car to make something?

depends if it's a 188mm or 210mm crown wheel.

I believe if its a 188 then its possible, the internals should be the same.

Looking for a shorter ratio?

I have an LSD with spurious internals so thought a spare one would not hurt if it was the right price and could fit.
