Hello,
From stop or in the junction with half clutch feel tremor and vibrate like clutch slip but when I release the pedal the clutch is engage good.
I use used clutch sets that come from e34 520i m20.
I want to change the clutch with new one, should I buy 320 or 325 or it is same? Any one know estimate weight for complete clutch set.
Thank you
Markus

Could possibly be too much play in the drive train.
Jack one rear wheel up, engine off, put it in 1st gear, take handbrake off and see if you can rotate the wheel.
If it moves back and fourth by more than about 10mm you have an old car !
Its either the diff with too much backlash (new crush collar, rebuild)
The driveshaft or halfshafts (replace)
or the gearbox, too much backlash in the layshaft (fit new shims, rebuild)
Either way its $$$$$$

There is NO nucleus.
That sounds correct. When the clutch pedal is half way down the clutch is meant to slip!markus_74 wrote:Hello,

My car is 318i to 325i conversion and diff is OK, driveshaft Ok, the suspect is only clutch set and gearbox.Martinaston wrote:Could possibly be too much play in the drive train.

Check that the rubber guibo is not split.
Is the engine from a car that was fitted with an automatic gearbox ?
