E30 heater whining noise

Hi,

My heater makes a high pitched whining noise when I put it on number 3 or 4. It doesn't make the sound straight away. Usually after about 2-3 minutes.

Any ideas on how to sort this?

Probably a motor bearing 'picking up' through lack of lubrication.
