Does anyone have any experience with different branded M42 hydro engine mounts and increased/decreased engine vibration in the cabin ?

I swapped out the old E28 M5 mounts for the original mounts expecting a decrease in vibration in the cabin but rather disturbingly got a significant increase.

Its a standard road car.
