Hi. Plenty has been written about the corroded pins in the electrical connectors c404 c405 in the E30 front doors. However, can you advise how to remove each corroded pin so that they can be swapped with a replacement? Part diagrams show there to be two barbs on each pin, holding it tight. I do not want an alternative fix (such as hardwiring) - I'd prefer to keep it as intended. Thanks Stuart.

Thanks Diable - that put me on the right track!

The tool to do the job is a: ITT Cannon Trident EXTRACTION TOOL, SIGNAL Part No: 192922-1450. About £14 from cpc.co.uk. I've tried it and it works great! Easy, solution to swapping out corroded pins !
